Wow what a year! With finals quickly approaching, I am finding myself cleaning my chaps for the last time. I will be cherishing all my “lasts” that are coming… last grand entry, last time wearing my crown and sash, and last time waving to everyone while going around the arena. I will miss stopping to say hello to a little girl that was in awe of me while I was walking around, and when you stop and notice them a sparkle in their eye just happens, and I am so lucky to have had all those priceless memories with so many little people. Putting on these chaps isn’t just something for grand entry. It is a confidence you put on each time you wear them! I have had the amazing privilege to be a QUEEN for the last year and I couldn’t be more thankful! I have learned so many things throughout this year - learned to be myself and be confident in my own skin, that haters gonna hate and that’s ok, that you have to smile every chance you get because you have to leave people with something, and so much more! These chaps have been in every grand entry with me and I wish it would last forever!! I hope the next Queen shines in these chaps and cherishes every lap with them on. . .until then I will be soaking in my last grand entry with them!
Love,
