Getting a SOLD message from my favorite gallery owner on a saturday while teaching an encaustic workshop was the cherry on top to the day! 🌊 Wax. Heat. Color. And suddenly, everything else fades away.

This encaustic piece came together in the most meditative way — blues, teals, and that ghostly tree emerging from the depths like it was always meant to be there.

Encaustic painting is one of the oldest art forms in the world, and honestly? It feels like therapy every single time. 🕯️✨

The way to a girls heart is through the marsh… it is for mine anyways! I miss our little marsh camp we had in St Helena and these encaustic pieces are created from those memories.
