Every bridal bouquet tells a different story.
People often ask where I begin when designing wedding flowers, and the answer is almost always the bridal bouquet!
Long before a single flower is ordered, I spend time getting to know each bride. We talk about her gown, her style, the flowers she loves (and the ones she doesnāt), the shape sheās envisioning, and the overall feeling she wants for her wedding day. Sheāll often send me inspiration photos, and while those help guide the design, I donāt believe in simply recreating someone elseās bouquet.
In a funny way, the bouquets almost make themselves!
The flowers have a way of coming together naturally. They always stay true to the brideās vision and aesthetic, but by the time Iām finished, they often become something even more personal than what either of us first imagined.
No two are ever exactly alike and I love that!!
Once the bouquet is designed, it becomes the inspiration for everything else.
Every centerpiece, ceremony arrangement, and floral detail flows from that one piece.
Itās truly the heart of the wedding flowers.
Itās also one of my favorite parts of every wedding, which is why itās something I almost always create myself. Our team is incredibly talented, but thereās something special about making the bouquet that grew from the conversations Iāve shared with each bride.
Some of my favorite bouquets have included deeply personal touchesāa piece of lace from a motherās wedding dress, a charm honoring someone dearly missed, or another meaningful keepsake tucked among the blooms. Those little details are often what make a bouquet unforgettable.
