On a Personal Note… ❤️
This Saturday is going to be a very special day for Eric and me. As we approach our 20th wedding anniversary, we will be receiving the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church, surrounded by our family.
When Eric and I were married nearly 20 years ago, it was a second marriage for both of us, and we were married by our dear friend, Momma Lisa, who is a lay person. Over the years, it has been in both of our hearts to have our marriage recognized and blessed by the Catholic Church.
With the guidance of Father Andrew at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, we were able to complete everything required by the Church, and now this Saturday, that prayer will finally become a reality.
What makes the day even more meaningful is having our family take part in the ceremony. Our granddaughters, Kami and Hadley, will proclaim the first and second readings, our daughter Erin will lead the Responsorial Psalm, and our daughter Caitlin and her husband, Stephen, will stand beside us as our witnesses.
This is something Eric and I have wanted for a very long time, and we feel incredibly blessed that the day is finally here.
God is good…all the time. 🙏❤️
