AbleArts Founded in 1993, we are Delaware's premier, community-based, performing arts troupe of differently-a If it's accessible, we'll perform there!

AbleArts wants to perform for YOU! :)
We've performed at schools, libraries, churches, nursing homes, and other community-based venues, as well as the University of Delaware and West Chester University. The members of AbleArts create what is performed, which includes dance, poetry, comedy, skits, songs, and satire. Pieces can be arranged to create a customized show that meets your needs.

The sleepy town of Second Samuel is turned upside down by the death of their beloved teacher, Miss Gertrude. It seems Miss Gertrude wasn't who she seemed to be!
Play Readings:
Play readings will be held the last Sunday in July ,August and September - Keep watching for updates!
Play readings are free- but donations are gratefully accepted! (Suggested donation: $5.00) - Popcorn, coffee and soda on sale!
WE "audition" plays and actors at our play readings. We welcome the public. After the reading, there will be a discussion. We invite you to participate. Join the fun! This is your opportunity to provide feedback.

Hi All,

AbleArts has started to perform in person again.

Our next meeting is July 24th at 3pm.

We have also scheduled our Annual Meeting for August 14, 2022.

Please contact the Admin of the site if interested in attending any of these events.

AbleArts has great news. We have got our 501c3 back to May 2019 when our 501c3 was revoked. It has taken an additional 2 years to get us properly listed as a 501c3 nonprofit on the IRS database and website.

We can now be found on Amazon Smile. Please if you use Amazon, consider listing AbleArts as your charity. Our coffers are low and we could really use your support.
