At the moment, Bricktown Theatre is not operating. Stephanie Hepburn is currently working on Steel Magnolias (playing Ouiser) at Clove Creek Dinner theatre after appearing as Mrs Tottendale with the County Players. There is the possibilty of another Bricktown Cabaret in the future. Any changes and plans will be announced on this page.

Now that the "Murder at Priorswell Manor" has been successfully solved (many thanks to the talented cast) It's time to blow the trumpet for our next show.
Sentimental Journey - the return trip!
Yes, Sentimental Journey is coming back on Saturday August 20th (7:00pm) and Sunday August 21st at 3:00pm. A new collection of songs and your favorite performers - including a return visit from Jennifer Hepburn who is currently starring in Mama Mia at the Novello Theatre in London's West End. You can reserve tickets by calling 917-579-0671 and leaving a message. Reservations will be confirmed within 24hrs so you can be sure of a seat for the show. Just make sure you leave the performance date and time, the number of tickets you need and a return phone number.

Well - so much for the preliminary plans, now for the REAL ones. In July well be staging the first in a new series of playreadings in collaboration with the Howland Cultural Center. To kick this off, were doing "Murder at Priorswell Manor". A funny mystery romp buy the creator of the Charles Paris mysteries, Simon Brett. In addition to a talented cast, Russell Cusick accompanied by Tom McCoy will be singing some choice Noel Coward songs to give everyone the feel of the piece.
We'll be doing two performances on Saturday July 23rd at 7:00pm and Sunday July 24th at 3:00pm.
Tickets ($15-adults; $10-concessions) are available in advance from www.brownpapertickets.com or at the door.
Also: keep watching - Sentimental Journey is back in August for a return trip!

Rehearsals are well underway for the November show - featuring the wit of Dorothy Parker, Katherine Hepburn and Mae West. The show features Kelly Ellenwood, Nancy Johnston, Stephanie Hepburn and Nancy Larsen. Angus Hepburn has joined the cast as the token male - well Mae West needs guys around - and live music for the show will be provided by Jeff Buchsbaum. For reservations, call 917-991-1339. Tickets are $15 and performances are Friday Nov 22 and Saturday 23 at 8:00pm and Sunday 24 at 3:00pm.

Look out for the Brick Town Theatre team at the "Beacon Celebrates the Arts II" event run by the Beacon Players at the High School on Friday 4th at 7:00pm. Local artists, local restaurants and performing arts individuals and groups will be there - A great way to 'network' and see what Beacon has to offer. Hope to see you there.
