Located 312 Main Street in Historic Beacon, Yanarella has been guiding and instructing students since 1957, over 50 years ago, under the direction of CarolAnn Yanarella Miller. For 38 years she passed on her love and wisdom to thousands of students, including Angela Van Vlack. In 1996, CarolAnn stepped down and passed the privilege of nurturing students to Angela and she became the current owner and director of Yanarella School of Dance.

Not every dancer needs to compete to matter.

Some dancers dance because they love it. Because it is the best part of their week. Because the music, the classroom, and the movement give them something they do not find anywhere else.

That is not a lesser commitment. That is its own beautiful kind of dedication.

The dancer reminds us why most of us fell in love with dance in the first place. No pressure. No trophies. No titles. Just the joy of moving, learning, growing, and feeling at home in the studio.

If a child dances because they love it, that is enough.

More than enough.
