Last Minute Soulmates are known for their unique blend of original compositions and a wide range of covers that pay tribute to some of the greatest artists of all time. The Alison Brown Quintet is on our this evening - Saturday, Oct. 10! Alison is a GRAMMY-winning musician, GRAMMY-nominated producer, former investment banker (with an AB from Harvard and an MBA from UCLA), and co-founder of The Compass Records Group, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023. Her collaborations with actor/comedian and fellow banjo player Steve Martin include the 2025 release, “Safe Sensible and Sane,” and they’ve performed together on late-night TV to promote that album. Grayson Hugh with Polly Messer headline our this evening - Friday, Oct. 9! Bursting on the music scene with his 1988 RCA release “Blind To Reason,” Grayson has been wowing audiences around the world ever since with his soulful singing, virtuoso piano playing and poetic lyrics. Grayson's wife and harmony singer Polly Messer is a former member of the Western swing band Eight To The Bar and the New York-based rockabilly band Eugene Chrysler. Please note: Due to the popularity of our Thursday Open Mic Night, we've made some adjustments to the sign-up process. The previous system resulted in us having to turn people away due to all slots being quickly filled. In an effort to be fair and accommodating to everyone, we have implemented the following guidelines:
– in person sign up between 4-6 p.m. on Thursday;
– online sign up between 12-3 p.m. on Thursday; please email [email protected] – we’re no longer taking calls. If you sign up and don’t attend or don’t cancel before 5 p.m., you’ll no longer be eligible to sign up online;
– The first 18 sign ups go into our lottery and are allotted 2 songs per person. Each additional sign up we limit to 1 song. If it’s a slow night and time allows, we could increase it to 3 songs per person.
– All performers MUST be present at 6:30 p.m., when we will draw the lottery for order of performance slots.

Our Open Mic Night was voted Best of Hudson Valley. For more than 25 years, the Towne Crier’s legendary Open Mic Nights have drawn top talent from throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond, Known as a true “listening room,” it provides artists with a respectful performance space, and live music fans with the best entertainment value around.
There is a $10 minimum for everyone in attendance – performers and audience members – which can be applied to food and beverage purchases.
