Happy Birthday to our incredible Kathryn! 🩷💃

A lifelong dancer and proud Newburgh native, Kathryn’s dance journey has taken her from Orange County Ballet Theater and NFA’s Advanced Dance Team to earning her B.A. in Dance from Hunter College, performing professionally in NYC, teaching hundreds of young students, and ultimately finding her home in the world of Salsa and Latin dance.

But what we love most is getting to watch her make her mark right here at PASSION. 🥹

Kathryn joined us just about a year ago, shortly after we opened our new room, and it didn’t take long for her classes to become a FAVORITE. What started with one offering quickly grew into more timeslots, more levels, more styles, and a whole lot more Latin dance at Passion. 🔥

She has fit so naturally into our community and into our team of Passion Guides — bringing not only incredible knowledge and experience, but warmth, energy, and a genuine love for sharing dance with others.

This year, Kathryn also made her Passion choreography debut in UNTAMED, and we’re so excited to see even more of her work hit the stage in MUSE: Let’s Get Lucky! 🍀✨

Kathryn, we’re so happy you found your way to us and so grateful for everything you’ve brought to this community in such a short time.

Help us wish her the happiest birthday! 🎉🩷💃

🎉 Happy Birthday, Marisa! 🎉

From ballet to musical theater, and as the brilliant leader behind our partnering courses and performances, Marisa wears so many hats at PASSION, and we look up to her in every single one of them.

As someone who has been a dancer for basically her entire life, she inspires us as a dancer, teacher, director, choreographer, and overall leader. And let’s not forget that she’s also an incredible storyteller. Whenever Marisa drops a comment in our Slack community, we KNOW it’s going to be a good read. Whether she’s making us feel motivated, getting us a little emotional, or just giving us a damn good laugh, she always has a way of connecting with us.

We are so lucky to have you, your talents, and your wise words, Marisa. Here’s to another year of dancing, creating, storytelling, and making us all a little better along the way. We love you! ❤️
