BIJOU MEMORIES... Can we talk? Several people have remarked that the theater brings back memories. Any of you willing to share? Do we need to ask that you be discreet?

GOOD NEWS... The Bijou Show House is FOR SALE! The right person, or people, will have a ball taking this theater to the next level. Unlike most "small" theaters on the Plains, the Bijou actually is a jewel, as its name implies. The auditorium runs parallel to the street which allows for wide raked seating. It has a roll-up screen revealing a large proscenium stage. Also, there is a deep apron stage with ramp access, perfect for performing music, dance, theater and stand up. The show house is electronically tricked out with additional free lines to spare for new technology. Currently, it has state-of-the-art 35 mm reel, DVD, Internet projection plus Wi-Fi, video game hook-ups of all the major manufacturers and so much more. There is theater lighting and state-of-the-art surround-sound equipment centered about a 32-channel sound board. There are 285 seats - not a bad one in the house - in the auditorium proper, and adjoining the projection booth on one side is a smoking room and on the other a crying room.
Cresting a hill in the center of the town of Beach, ND, the Bijou is located almost halfway between Chicago and Seattle 1 mile south of I-94, the perfect location for attracting traveling performers. PM me for contact with the realtor. You will be so glad you did!

I just encountered some new kids in town who had no idea there is a theater Bijou Show House in Beach. Tell every kid you can, THERE'S A FREE FAMILY SHOW this Saturday, start time 1:00 pm, and they are welcome, thanks to JB Improvements.

There may not be a regular schedule, but did you ever think of renting the theatre for a party or business? The Bijou has video-game (on the Big Screen + theatre sound!) ability, DVD and any number of other video tech abilities including WiFi, PowerPoint, and more. The limit is your imagination.
