Artist Statement
My art is inspired by nature and objects that I find interesting and fun to paint. I enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes from photographs and also plein air (on site) in an impressionistic style; loosely and with visible brush strokes. How light reflects on water, the ever changing colors and shadows of wetlands, bay and sky gives me a wealth of subject matter close to my summ

Linda (Cline) Ramsay was born in Philadelphia, Pa. She attended Philadelphia College of Art and received a BA from Rutgers University and studied abroad. Her works hang in private and public collections throughout the US, Grand Caymans, British Columbia and England. She is an artist in residence at LBI Foundation of Arts & Sciences, 120 Long Beach Blvd, Lovadies, NJ where she maintains a 2nd floor studio year round and year round resident of High Bar Harbor, Long Beach Island, NJ where she teaches and participates in
