June Newsletter
Tuition: May Tuition (your final month of payment) is now passed due. All accounts must be up to date before our performances this weekend. If you have an outstanding balance of any kind, please see the front desk during our regular business hours.
Yearbook Distribution: We began distributing our yearbooks this past Wednesday and will continue to do so at the end of every class this week!
Backstage Volunteers: Zoom Meeting tonight at 8:00 p.m. for all backstage volunteers. Zoom link will follow in a separate email.
Summer & Fall Registration: Don’t forget to register for your summer classes this week and pre-register for Fall to save on your registration fee and get first pick of your classes when the schedule is released in July! This special ends on after Saturday, June 13th.

Recital Reminders: This year has gone by so fast! Please see the list of reminders for our recital weekend!
BEFORE THE SHOW:
- Please arrive on time 45 minutes before the start of the performance.
- Come dressed in your costume (or 1st dance costume if you are in more than 1 class)
- Have your hair and make-up done as specified by your teacher
- Have on the proper tights
- Have the proper shoes with you
- Have any accessories that go with your costume on.
- Leave anything that does not go with the costume. (jewelry, nail polish, tattoos) at home
- Bring a non-messy, nut free snack, or light lunch. Small sandwich, bagel, pretzels, goldfish are great examples Please nothing that turns your fingers or your costumes colors!
- Bring plenty of water, or drink that will not stain. NO GLASS BOTTLES PLEASE
- Please do not bring any devices with you or anything that you may not want to let lost backstage.
Procedures for students dancing in more than one show were emailed out to you last week. Should you have any questions, please address them at the studio this week. Do not wait until the morning of the recital
DURING THE SHOW:
- Please bring your tickets with you. We will sell tickets at the door but will ONLY EXCEPT CHECK OR CASH.
- The house will open for the audience a half hour before each performance time.
- Please make sure to tell your guests to arrive on time to allow for parking and to find their seats in a timely manner.
- Please make sure to silence your cell phones.
- Please do enter or exit the auditorium while there is a dance on stage.
_ Please keep the center aisle free and clear of all traffic.
- Please use the blackouts in between dances if you need to exit the auditorium for any reason during the show.
- Please keep small children seated either on a lap or in a seat. They should not be running around the auditorium.
- PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY DURING THE SHOW IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. A professional video will be taken of all our shows by EAP video. Every family will receive a digital download of every show. Please do not video during the performances.
- No one will be permitted backstage during the performance. The backstage area is for students, teachers, staff, and parent volunteers.
- No one will be permitted backstage during Intermission.
- Dancers are not permitted to leave during their ticket show performance.
- DON’T WORRY – RELAX AND ENJOY THE SHOW – In the digital age we have a computer printout of every ticket sold and who bought them If your dancer is having a hard time backstage and we feel they need you; we will have a staff member get you from your seat to take you backstage to them. We have ample help for each class for costume and hair changes. Pop up tents located around the gym for quick and private costume changing and plenty of older students who are willing to have lots of fun with your young children backstage!
- Students will go directly backstage after they dance and will wait backstage to bow with the all the children for the finale.
AFTER THE SHOW:
- The recital is OVER after all our dancers bow in our finale and our Act Curtain closes AFTER ALL OF THE STUDENTS BOW.
- ALL the students will report backstage to gather their belongings and line up as a class.
- Parents and guests will exit the auditorium and go outside of the building through the main entrance of the school.
- 1 parent/guardian should remain in the auditorium. Once the children have gathered their belongings, we will return to the stage with them and dismiss them to you.
Bring a Friend/Free Trial Week: Monday June 8th – Saturday, June 13th is our last week of classes!
It is also our Bring a Friend for free/Free class trial week! Does your dancer have a friend who may be interested in taking class? Do you have a younger child who is ready to start classes? Is your dancer interested in trying a new dance style?
Look at our website for the schedule or ask at the front desk for information on classes to try!
Last Day of Class: Saturday, June 13th
Competition Team Auditions: Our auditions for next year’s team for new members is on Wednesday, June 16th 11 and Under - 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. 12 and Over 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Summer classes begin on Monday, July 13th
