The Little Artist's (2-4 years old ) class had so much fun painting yesterday. Most days we draw and paint but yesterday we spent the whole hour painting. I love how much they are learning.
The baby of the group, Suri, is not even 2 yet and she is painting like a pro. She has been painting at Bay Bridge Art on and off since she was 11 months old and then started painting weekly with us 4 months ago. When she started the lesson was "don't eat the paint" and now she actually tries really hard to put the paint right where it's supposed to go. Love watching these children grow up with paintbrushes in their hands.

with more flexibility on children's ages. Younger and Older Siblings can attend the same class with course work modified for each student based on their skill level.

*Foundations of Art

After School Art Classes, at 4pm every Friday at Bay Bridge Art! This class is for kids from 11-15 who are ready take their art to the next level. Is your child ready to learn more advanced drawing techniques? On Friday afternoons we focus on drawing for the first half of class and then we switch to painting. Kids will learn about composition, color, light and shadow.

Little Artist's Art Classes. Mondays at 4.
This class is for 2-4 year old children taking their first steps in art. They will learn how to draw (sometimes before they learn to write) using simple shapes. They will learn how to paint using acrylics, watercolors and tempera paints. Little Tara was using watercolor for this Pelican painting.

Our After School Classes are learning about composition and how to use texture to add more dimension to their paintings. We have been working on textured peacocks for the last couple of weeks. Love how these are turning out.

Congratulations, Elizabeth, for being Artist of the Week at Bay Bridge Art.
Little E is always kind, joyful and considerate. She is one of our weekly students and her dedication to drawing and painting is really paying off.
She is 4 1/2 and already painting like a pro. She loves her family and always mentions who her paintings are for while she is creating. She is such a sweet child we are lucky to have her as part of the Bay Bridge Art family. We hope that she keeps painting with us for a long time and we look forward to seeing what she will paint next.
