Check out the new Brush Bookshelf mural by ThreeLineArt at the Carbondale Public Library 🎨

This project underscores the Library’s dedication to “Racial Healing Sustainability,” fostering unity and understanding within the Carbondale community.

The mural, created & designed by Marion artist Maddie Deiters of ThreeLineArt, showcases a collection of books selected with the community’s input, reflecting Carbondale’s rich diversity. Deiters’ artistic vision and hard work, supported by her skilled team members Deanna Deiters and Jamarr McZeke, brought the mural to life.

Special thanks to Connie Wallace for contributing her talents for our newest painted barrel. This barrel has already been placed near the new picnic tables at Sye Davis Park on Nesbit Street. One of the goals of COPA is finding ways to create art from everyday objects -- including trash receptacles. To date, more than two dozen barrels have been painted and placed at parks all over Bay Minette. A big thank you as well to Quincy Compressor for donating the barrels for this ongoing art project!

One of the goals of COPA is finding ways to create art from everyday objects -- including trash receptacles. Another painted garbage barrel has been completed thanks to the very talented DeeAnn Reed! This beautiful barrel has already been placed near the sand volleyball courts at the municipal pool complex. A big thanks to DeeAnn who has already painted multiple barrels for us! One of the goals of COPA is finding ways to create art from everyday objects -- including trash receptacles.
