It's Wednesday and that means our weekly Stern Army tournament is tonight at 6:30! Don't forget you can get a bite to eat at Level Up Lounge! In the upcoming weeks The Polar Lab will be open with homemade ice cream. Be sure to give both of these businesses a like and share as they're offering a unique experience at not only the arcade, but Downtown Bay City as a whole.

On another note, pokemon got a MAJOR update today. Come practice up for our launch party which takes place in 2 weeks!

PSA: The Polar Lab homemade ice cream shop

While MaMa may have decided to officially retire, the next generation is not ready to move on yet. A newly formed business will be moving into the City Market located at 401 Center Avenue. The Polar Lab will feature homemade premium ice cream available for scooping and will also be available in pre-packed pints and half gallons. Customers will now have access to classic video games and pinball at Crazy Quarters arcade, freshly made pizza and subs at Level Up Lounge along with homemade ice cream all located within The City Market. The owners of The Polar Lab have over 25 years of experience making ice cream and serving the Bay City community.

Over the last several years, we have been listening to the feedback given by our customers. The newly established business will feature better parking and will also accept cashless payment options. The shop is accessible from 3 different entrances including Center Avenue, Adams Street and N Jefferson street. The easiest route is to access the shop by using the Northeast entrance and parking lot of the City Market located on the corner of N Jefferson Street and 5th Street.

No pain….No gain….No fear!!!

From lead designer Steve Ritchie (Black Knight, Firepower) and based on the “No Fear” clothing line, ‘No Fear: Dangerous Sports’ is a fast-paced pinball challenge inspired by the world of extreme sports competition; where second place is the first loser.

Shoot the ball into the Skull when lit to start extreme challenges such as Supercross racing with Jeremy McGrath and water skiing with Glen Plake. The Skull has a mind of its own. It narrates the action, calls out the shots, and might even laugh at you for playing poorly.

Other Tips:
- Shoot the horseshoe path around the Skull to advance in the races.
- Shoot the spinner loop as fast as possible when prompted to maximize point value.
- Combo the jump ramp above the playfield to build bonus.
- Complete all challenges for the chance to “Meet Your Maker” in the wizard mode.
- Practice this game any time during business hours to train for our onsite pinball tournaments every Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Open to players of all ages and skill levels.

Spring Break is here and as usual we extend our hours. We'll be open 2-10 Monday through Thursday, 2-11 on Friday, 11-11 on Saturday, and closed on Sunday for Easter.

Puzzle game fans, this one’s for you! ‘Blockout’ released in 1989 by American Technos is at Crazy Quarters Arcade for $0.50 a play (or $1.00 for two players).

Using an overhead viewpoint, ‘Blockout’ puts a three-dimensional twist on the Tetris formula. Maneuver, rotate and drop various Polycube blocks to make solid layers (or “faces”) that cause those blocks to disappear from the pit. Complete enough faces to advance to the next round of higher difficulty. The game ends when a stack of blocks reaches the top of the pit. Play for high score or challenge a friend to compete head-to-head.

Crazy Quarters is a family-friendly arcade that’s open all seven days of the week. Change machines and ATMs on site for your convenience. Perfect for parties or those spur-of-the-moment cravings for old school games!

If you haven’t yet heard the news, Stern Pinball’s brand new Pokémon game is here at Crazy Quarters! Right on time for the franchise’s 30th anniversary year.

Based on the long-running anime series, players take on the role of Pokémon trainers. Shoot lit targets and the Pokédex to discover Pokémon in the wild; and then shoot the Poké Ball ramp to catch it!

Collect and duel familiar characters across four different habitats. (Grass, water, electric, and fire.) Complete the B-A-T-T-L-E targets to start Team Rocket Multiball and battle the interactive Meowth Balloon.

It wouldn’t be an arcade without PAC-MAN. Enjoy the original 1980 classic at Crazy Quarters for 25 cents a play - just as you remember it!

Guide Pac-Man up-down-left-right through the maze to collect as many dots as you can before one of four ghosts catches you. Clear the entire board to advance to the next stage. Eat a flashing power pellet to turn the tables on the ghosts and swallow them up for points!
