I've been doing my PT every day and I did 36 steps with the walker and marched in place 10 times. I feel ready to go out and get my blood drawn and then able to get up the 6 front steps when we get back. I'll take a salt tablet, blood pressure machine and a large glass of ice water with me to prepare for anything that might transpire. We'll take the gait belt just in case I need help getting up the stairs. It makes it much easier for Rob to help me if I need it.
I've been waiting for the PT, Occupational therapist and personal care aide to call and make a schedule but I'm not waiting to do my own exercises in the meantime. I did more than I thought I could and that makes me feel good about my progress.
Thank you all for supporting me through calls, prayers and healing energy being sent. Love and blessing my dear friends and family.

Yesterday my sister and her wife drove up from Bloomfield Hills and brought mom and their daughters to visit from Cali and celebrate my 63rd birthday.. me and mom with our walkers.
It was so nice to have family visit us. Our sweet furbaby Buddy was so happy to have visitors.
Thank you Robert my sweet hubby for buying me a bumpy cake and baking a vanilla Bundt cake with butter cream frosting. Baking sugar free cupcakes and buying sugar free ice cream for mom was so thoughtful and sweet. Everything was delicious and I am so lucky to have the best husband ever.
Thank you Teresa and Kate. It was so great to see you all and for bringing mom. It was a great day. I love you all so much 💋❤️

I stood up without any help and walked 27 steps unassisted with the walker. Now that I have my blood pressure meds and salt tablets, I plan on getting as strong as possible before I have the ostomy revision surgery. They have to get me up the day after and not make me lay for several days. If this laparoscopy surgery is a success, it will mean a world of change for me.
Please keep the prayers coming as I face down the upcoming challenges. Your prayers and Reiki healing have been felt and greatly appreciated. I have the best friends and family and I love and appreciate you so very much.

These spineless Democrats calling for Biden to drop out of the race need to shut the flip up. Mostly are white men ruled by fear and they are weak. We the people choose who the nominee is and we chose Biden/Harris. They don't get to override who we voted for. One bad debate shouldn't determine whether Biden should quit. He made a gaff by mixing up names. I challenge each and everyone to say that they haven't done the same thing. How many parents mix up their children's names.
Either get on board the Biden bus or join the other party. I'm ridin with Biden and even more after the press meeting. Biden has done a great job and deserves our full support. The media jams Biden but is silent when Trump does the same or worse.
Call your Capital Hill and state that you support Biden.

I performed at The Tr**ny Shack and Daddy's on the same night. It was magical and I made so much money it shocked me as I worked the crowds like never before. The gay men and le****ns alike embraced me and I was asked to move there but I had secured a great job at the Detroit Health Department with an important needed position as the Mobile Care Unit Supervisor and I knew that I could help the most needy. I had the Mobile at all of the local Pride festivals and even worked the Detroit gay clubs doing HIV testing and counseling until the wee hours of the night. My staff wasn't too happy to work on weekend nights but I was able to help so many newly diagnosed into care and the prevention of further infections.
I always wondered how my drag career would have been different being celebrated like I experienced on that one magical night. I made the right decision because the most needy of Detroit needed me more. It was the hardest job I ever had but the most rewarding. I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it over.
