Today's groundbreaking for the Jefferson Project Sculpture Park & Garden marked the beginning of something much larger than a construction site, it’s the foundation of a space for art, community, and connection in Bay City.

Thank you to Leadership Bay County for stopping by The Jefferson Project to learn more about our programs, including the Third Street Star Bridge and Raise a Flag Bay City.

We also enjoyed touring the future Jefferson Sculpture Park and Garden site together as we prepare to begin construction on this exciting new community space in Bay City.

Thank you United Way of Bay County for organizing such a great Day of Caring.

Not only does this day make a real impact, it gives volunteers a chance to connect more deeply with the projects shaping our region.

We’re grateful for the support from Team Morley and the crew from UA Local 85, you all showed up and made a difference.

The Jefferson Project was pleased to work with Downtown Bay City and the Bay City Cooperative Market to help launch the Bay Area Farmers Market at the Jefferson Street location in 2025. As the market moves forward as its own nonprofit organization, we’re excited to see it continue to grow, look for an expanded Thursday market this year at the Pere Marquette Depot! 👩‍🌾✨

It's official! The Bay Area Farmers Market will be moving to the Pere Marquette Parking Plaza, located at the corner of 5th & Adams in downtown Bay City for the 2026 season.

We’d like to extend the most sincere thank you to Bay County for allowing us to utilize this beautiful, centrally located space. Their community partnership will help make our market more accessible and welcoming for our entire community and we are beyond grateful! ✨🙌
