Tomorrow is January’s Words Like Honey! A monthly community poetry open mic hosted by The Asterix* held at LoLoBee’s Lounge.

January’s writing prompt will be “time.” Please feel free to bring poetry inspired by our prompt. Otherwise, we encourage you to come and listen to your fellow community members!

Today, 7pm at Lolobee’s Lounge will be this month’s Words Like Honey.

Words Like Honey is a monthly community poetry open mic, held on the first Tuesday of every month.

Starting this month, WLH now will be cohosted by The Asterix*; an organization intending to provide a safe space for q***r, 2SLGBTQIA+, the often overlooked and undervalued members of the community, and their allies.

This month’s writing prompt is “Gratitude.” Please feel free to share your poetry inspired by our prompt. Otherwise, we hope you will come out to listen!

🐝 yes! there is not a set date yet, we are currently waiting for some ✨confirmations✨ from some people

🍯 are y’all doing anything special for the one year anniversary? did y’all forget? how could you? i thought we had something special! 😭😭
🐝 we are & our apologies for going silent! we have big big plans & we are so excited to share them with you but we gotta wrap up a couple more things first! y’all are the greatest & we wouldn’t even have a one year event if it weren’t for all of you. so thank you
