ARTIST SPOTLIGHT : Cali Beth

Hi, my name is Cali Agee! I graduated from Dekalb County High school in December of 2025. I plan to continue my education at TTU for a degree in civil engineering. I started drawing when I was 3 years old, before I could properly write my own name. Art has always been a way of expressing myself through every season of life. When I first heard the idea that tattooing was a career path, I quickly fell in love with the thought. I look forward to providing people with tattoos that make them feel more confident in their own skin! Being a part of Black Heart Tattoo is truly one of my greatest joys and I can’t wait to share this journey with everyone involved!

Hi! My name is Madstar, and I am very excited to meet you all! I graduated from Cookeville High School in May, 2025, and I will be continuing my pursuit of art through Tennessee Tech until I graduate with a Bachelor’s in 2029. For as long as I can remember I have been drawing. Whether it was a small doodle of a cat on my homework, a drawing with a pen on a classmate’s arm, or an educated sketch in art class, I always found myself using art to express how I felt. However, It wasn’t until I moved to Tennessee with my grandmother at 15 that I was shown tattooing could be an option for me. She asked me if I ever thought of putting my art to skin, I looked into it, researched a couple of artists, and quickly grew to love the concept, art, symbolism, and people involved with tattooing. I could not be more thankful to work with Black Heart Tattoo. I plan to work hard, be dedicated, and be a tattoo artist that you all can trust to not only give you an awesome tattoo but also give you a comfortable and safe experience altogether. I look forward to fun and successful years together!

I'm thrilled to join the tattoo community, connecting with like-minded artists and clients who share a passion for self-expression. Being apart of Black Heart Tattoo and working along side some amazing women is a dream come true!

Hey y’all, I’m Rachel and I was born and raised in Texas! I’ve been 6’3” since I was 13(middle school was real fun) and I’m a mom of a truly feral 3 year old!

I spent my 20’s traveling the world, mma fighting, getting my Bachelors degree in fine art, welding, throwing pottery, photographing peoples most important memories all over the country and of course, drawing! My husband and I eloped and were married at the top of a mountain in Washington in 2020, which was followed by our move to beautiful TN!

I’ve been an artist creating in any and every form possible ever since I can remember. So to say that this is absolute DREAM is an understatement. I’m SO psyched to be a part of Black Heart, so thankful for my amazing mentor Emily and cannot wait for the journey ahead!

Featuring artists and and apprentice … ! We hope to see everyone there and can’t wait to enjoy one ( or a few! ) tasty ice cream flavors next door!
