Yes... it's true.
By now, some of you may have noticed the signs outside or seen the listing online.
Lionseed's building is officially for sale.
To everyone who has followed and championed this little dream from the beginning—thank you.
You may think I'm in the business of books, but I've always believed I'm really in the business of curiosity, inspiration, and helping people build meaningful lives. The greatest gift has been discovering that every person who walks through these doors has given those gifts right back to me.
The next chapter of Lionseed is just beginning, and I can't wait to share more with you soon.
But before we talk about what's changing, I want to celebrate what isn't.
For four years, we've been quietly running a Story Trading Post.
We just never gave it a name.
Every day, people have come in looking for books and left behind something even more valuable—stories, questions, local history, discoveries, acts of kindness, and conversations that linger long after the last page is turned.
(Like the neighbor who surprised me with homemade chocolate cake today. The cake is gone... but the kindness—and the story—remain. 🍰❤️)
So today, we're making it official.
The Story Trading Post is open.
Bring a story.
Bring a curiosity.
Bring a discovery from nature.
Bring a piece of local history.
Kids can complete weekly Curiosity Challenges, earn a small reward, and add their discoveries to the Trading Post—whether that's a photo, drawing, found object, or story. Grown-ups are invited to trade stories, too.
STILL OPEN! THURS - SAT, 10AM - 4 PM
My hope is that together we'll create a living collection of the people, places, discoveries, and everyday moments that make this community extraordinary.
Because the best things we leave behind aren't buildings.
They're the stories we share within them.
❤️ Stay curious.
