Introducing PNW Glass Guild Member Rosalind Cooper as one of the artists to visit on Sept 19 & 20 during the greater Portland Area Glass Guild Studio Tour!

Roz first became enamored with glass at 17 when seeing the sun shining through the Rose Window at Notre Dame in Paris. Many years later she took stained glass classes, then a fused glass class which opened up many new ventures to pursue. What motivates Roz to continue creating glass art today is there are always new challenges and methods to try.

Introducing PNW Glass Guild Past President Lesley Kelly as one of the artists to visit on Sept 19 & 20 during the greater Portland Area Glass Guild Studio Tour!

For Lesley, glass has always been about one thing: light. She's long been fascinated by the way sunlight streams through colored glass, transforming it into something vibrant, ever-changing, and full of life. That simple joy is what first drew her to glass art, and it continues to inspire everything she creates today.

Introducing PNW Glass Guild President Barbara Kienle as one of the artists to visit on Sept 19 & 20 during the greater Portland Area Glass Guild Studio Tour!

Nature is the heart of Barbara's work. She's especially inspired by forests, coastal beaches, and colorful floral landscapes, and strives to capture their beauty through glass. Texture plays an equally important role in her artistic style. Using tack and contour fusing, along with layers of glass powders and frits, Barbara creates richly textured pieces that invite viewers to experience them not only visually but also through their dimensional surfaces.
