As many of you have noticed, we have not been taking bookings lately. We regret to inform you that we have decided to permanently close. We tried very hard to make it through the pandemic but unfortunately, we could not. We also tried very hard to sell the business and keep it in Battle Creek, and we thought we had it sold, but that also, unfortunately, fell through.
To all of you that supported us. Thank you. We were not some big franchise like other nearby places. This gig was just my youngest son, my wife, and I, and some great kids along the way, that operated this machine and helped us get a killer 5-star rating that I take pride in more than you know. We cared about you. We cared about your experiences. And we wanted to offer you the best escape experience you ever had. Did we always succeed? No. But we tried.
We had the opportunity to host a marriage proposal in the Wizard Room that was probably as awesome for us as it was for the family. We built an entire custom game in Wizard that when they finished, the puzzle spelled "Will You Marry Me?" as they met the dragon. We had SCREAMS! as players met Bathtub Barb or found out that Stephen Klause wasn't really a good guy in the Cabin. We had people sprint to the door after they found the hidden diamonds as they rushed to escape before the cops arrived. We had people solve murders. We watched people have fun.
This is tough. But unfortunately necessary. Thank you all again for everything. You will be missed. Please support small, local businesses.
