We will be closed today due to inclement weather. Please stay home. Stay safe, stay warm. Combo and tots classes can do a make up if they’d like. Combo can make up during a Tuesday class 6:45-7:15 and tots can do a make up in the Wednesday class 5:00-5:45.

What an Honor.

Shari (Rarick) Gysel began dancing as a child and trained in ballet, jazz, acrobatics, tap, and modern. While a student at Battle Creek Central, she even attended Butler University as a dance major, later continuing her studies at the Paris American Academy and Michigan State. She also demonstrated for the Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Company in Chicago.

For more than 50 years, Shari has shared her love of dance with her hometown through the Shari Rarick School of Dance. She has taught through her studio, worked with BCPS students in the Ann J. Kellogg Elementary L.A.S.E.R. program, and directed children in Nutcracker performances with the Moscow Ballet and Battle Creek Symphony. A proud member of the Battle Creek Central Hall of Fame, she has mentored generations of dancers, many of whom have gone on to teach and perform nationwide.

DANCE CAMPS! Begin July 7 &8, at 9:30 AM for 4-8 Yr olds (Unicorns and Fairies and/or Princess Camp July 9-10) Acrobatics Camp for 8 yr olds and up is July 7-8, 4:30 PM and/or Leaps and Turns (July 9-10).
