Porchview Welcome to our porch. The front porch has a unique place in American history. It's the place where we share ideas and fellowship. This is a non-political page.

That's what this experiment is about: sharing our experience with one another, and thus, expanding our viewpoint. This isn't about red and blue, right and left. This is about seeing America and meeting Americans who are making things and doing things. The guy down the street trying to get his homebrew business off the ground? We want to meet him. That woman who has been the local librarian for the

last 60 years? Her story is fascinating to us. There's no way we can tell all the stories we want to, but every chance we DO get is a chance to expand our thinking, and to share it with all of you. Welcome to a View From the Porch. To paraphrase Fred Rogers, "Won't you be our neighbor?"
