Bridge Nouveau Theatre Company, LLC is a theatre group made up of both professional artists and community volunteers who want to bring high-quality and innovative productions to the Baton Rouge area. Created by a group of local, professional theatre artists and community volunteers, Bridge Nouveau aims to present relevant work that entertains, inspires and challenges its audiences while celebratin

g and promoting the art of theatre itself. As a theatre company, Bridge Nouveau's goal is collaborating with the community for found performance spaces rather than traditional theaters. We align our mission with the mission of the found space and find plays that are the best fit for a unique entertainment experience. Join us as Bridge Nouveau Theatre teams up with The Guru in Baton Rouge, LA to produce "Talley's Folly" by Landford Wilson. Winner of the 1980 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this romantic comedy is set in an old boathouse near rural Lebanon, Missouri in 1944 and follows the characters Matt Friedman and Sally Talley as they reunite and come to terms with their feelings for each other.

Bridge Nouveau is happy to present a staged reading of "The Radium Girls" by DW Gregory. The read will happen this Saturday at the Hammond Regional Arts Center in Hammond. Beginning at 10 a.m. attendees can attend a presentation by Kate Moore, author of The Radium Girls, which inspired the play, followed by brunch and the read. A big thank you to our friends, supporters, fans, and everyone who came out to see Talley's Folly this weekend. This was a great milestone for Bridge Nouveau as a production company. We strove to raise the bar and to do new & different things. Everyone worked very hard and collectively, and we were thrilled (as always) to be able to share our love of theatre with all of you.
