🚨 JUSTICE FOR KASSIDY JACKSON 🚨
My name is Quan and I am the Auntie of Kassidy Jackson.
On January 8, 2026, my 18-year-old niece was shot and killed in my sister house. Since that day, our family has been grieving a loss that no parent should ever have to endure.
Paulasia Banks was arrested and charged in connection with Kassidy’s death. However, our family has serious concerns about this case and how it has been handled.
We know this tragedy involved more than one person, yet only one person has been charged. MY Sister HOME our home was invaded, but no home invasion charge has been filed. We also KNOW that Kassidy’s young son was placed in danger during this incident, yet no attempted murder or related charge involving her child has been filed.
Today, we left court feeling devastated. We learned that Paulasia Banks received a protective order and a $150,000 bond. As Kassidy’s family, it is difficult to understand these decisions while we continue to mourn a daughter, mother, sister, niece, and friend whose life was taken at only 18 years old.
Kassidy’s son was robbed of his mother. Our family was robbed of someone we loved beyond words. We wake up every day carrying a pain that will never go away.
We are asking for help from attorneys, victim advocates, civil rights organizations, community leaders, elected officials, and media outlets willing to look into this case and help us understand our rights and options moving forward.
We need people to pay attention. We need people to ask questions. We need people to stand with our family as we continue seeking justice for Kassidy.
