The Shoal Creek Vitex—named a Louisiana Super Plant for its durability and standout blooms—is currently flowering at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens in Baton Rouge. Known for its ability to handle dry conditions, this pollinator-friendly shrub performs especially well in Louisiana landscapes. Stop by any day between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to catch it at its peak.
