Established in 1989, The Gallery as been a leading part of the regional artistic community, representing national and local emerging and mid-career professional artists.

Our semi-annual European debut is fast approaching! This season’s drop will feature a collection of Modern Masters from our late-career, estate and European Collection paired with antique and fine frames.

Ann has spent much of her career traveling the world to find makers, purveyors and dealers to source these special pieces from. We invite you to join us as we bring these global finds to Baton Rouge and New Orleans on November 13th and 14th for the collection debut.

These one of a kind pieces go quickly so make sure you join us or sign up for the wishlist to be first to see these rare and special finds! These pieces are not available online so DM us for more information!

Road trip to Texas! Our next pop-up is THIS WEEK in Houston with our friends at The Marlene in historic Montrose! We could not be more excited to bring debut artwork from featured artist Winifred Ross Reilly and others from our contemporary and late career collection for a two-day feature. Join us Thursday, October 1st 4-7:00 and Friday, October 2nd 10-7:00 - it’s a short event you don’t want to miss!

Fresh from France, newly arrived ceramic works from Terre Brute are now in the gallery! These hand built art objects are made using a time-intensive coil building technique. The artist uses this technique to create complex organic shapes with unusual geometry and openings in the forms. The final step before firing is the glaze experimentation. The artist is known for pushing the limits of glazing mediums, developing surfaces are a beautiful blend of chemistry and artistry.

These pieces debut online Saturday at annconnelly.com. Featured in our Baton Rouge location through October 16th followed by an exhibit at our New Orleans space Saturday, October 17th on 5419 Magazine Street.

The dream has come true! Our shared space in New Orleans is now open with our friends Sister Ship Antiques ans B. Viz Design on Magazine Street.

The space features work from our European Collection including late career, estate and rare lithographs and antique frames. This month, we are featuring work from contemporary collage artist, Demond Matsuo.

What’s even better than a grand opening? Extended hours! Due to the overwhelming demand we are extending hours for today’s open house to 6:00pm.

Come celebrate our opening with friends B. Viz Design and Sister Ship Antiques as we unveil our new shared space! Artist Demond Matsuo will be in attendance celebrating his newest series of paintings from 3:00-6:00. Come by, have a look, meet our team and enjoy the afternoon!
