Dear School of Theatre Alumni,
over the past several months the Alliance for the Future: Dismantling Bias and Racism in the School of Theatre Task Force has been working to develop a deliberate and definable action plan that advances Equity, Diversity and Inclusion as priorities within the School of Theatre. As part of these efforts the Alliance has created a School of Theatre Climate Survey. The Climate Survey is designed to collect information on your experiences as a student and to use the information to create initiatives centered around eliminating bias and racism within the School of Theatre. The survey will be administered every other year and will serve as a benchmark for evaluating the School of Theatre's progress in eliminating bias and racism within our community.
We want to hear from you even if you weren't a recent graduate.

The survey should take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete. The feedback will be analyzed and compiled into a report by a team led by Dr. Sarah Becker, Associate Professor of Sociology and be made available to the School of Theatre community. While participation is voluntary, I hope you will complete the survey at the link below and contribute to this important initiative The survey will remain open through Wednesday, October 14. Dear LSU School of Theatre BIPOC Alumni,

You may be aware, we will be leading ED&I and Anti-Racism facilitation and training for the 2020-2021 school year with the LSU School of Theatre Faculty, Staff, Students, and Alumni. We will be holding a virtual session for all BIPOC students and alumni this Friday, September 25th from 4:30-7pm CST. Please contact Tiffany at [email protected] for the Zoom info. Please know that this is a safe space, that no LSU Faculty or Staff members will be on the call, and that everything said on the call will be confidential.
