Mardi Gras season kicked off in a big way in Baton Rouge as the Krewe of Artemis rolled through downtown, celebrating its 25th anniversary.

A special thank you from the officers of the Krewe of Artemis to our membership, our royalty, all the marching unts and the Baton Rouge community for another great year! We were so excited to see great the turnout to help the krewe celebrate our 25th anniversary parade last night! Thank you so much for your support of Artemis.

The Krewe of Artemis rolls Friday, February 6, 2026 at 7:00pm, bringing the throws, the energy, and the full Mardi Gras magic to Baton Rouge.

Come enjoy - 29 floats, 22 school marching bands, 14 dance group, Red Stick Roller Derby, Louisiana Ghostbusters, Golden Guys, The Golden Grannies, Buffalo Soldier Riding Club to name a few of the groups you will see!
