🏁 NOTICE TO ALL RIDERS & PARENTS — AMATEUR CONTINGENCY AWARDS

Under the 2026 AMA Competition Rulebook, only A-class riders may compete for cash prizes. The AMA rulebook specifically states that contingency is not considered a cash prize.

SCMX amateur sponsor awards are offered as Sponsor Contingency Awards — NOT CASH PURSES.

Our amateur contingency awards are issued on prepaid award cards that are:

• Non-reloadable
• Non-transferable
• No ATM cash withdrawals
• Issued as sponsor contingency awards rather than a cash purse

These awards comply with AMA amateur competition rules regarding contingency awards and are not advertised or offered as cash prizes.

SCMX supports amateur racing and works to structure our sponsor awards consistent with AMA amateur competition rules while giving back as much as possible to the riders who support our events.

We have received numerous questions, and I hope this answers them all. AMA racing director email will be uploaded after our conversation concludes.

🏁 TURKEY CREEK MX UPDATE — WE ARE GOOD TO GO! 🏁

We want to clear up any weather concerns for SCMX Summer Series Round 3 tomorrow!

Turkey Creek has received very little rain — the track is currently DRY, and we’ll be firing up the sprinklers first thing in the morning to get moisture into the track and have it ready for racing! 💦🏁

Early registration 8/28 7-8pm

Registration opens at 7am

Trackside Church service is at 8:30am beside the scoring tower

Mandatory riders meeting at 8:45

Practice starts at 9am with racing to follow

Awards and payouts will be available 15 minutes after second motos

Any cash prizes, or sponsor contingency awards must have 10 entries for that class to be payout eligible.

We are racing rain or shine, we are expecting a great day of racing with a sprinkle or two, mostly cloudy race day!
