New Release Friday ... October 2, 2026

Congrats to the Chicago White Sox! Condolences to the Chicago Cubs Here at the Kiss, we were hoping for a Chicago World Series but it was not to be .. ???

Lots of great music coming our way this Friday. One of the greatest albums of all time is getting the Remix, Special Mastering and Bonus Track treatment.

KGLW is reissuing some of their finest employing a technology called "injection mold processing". We are anxious to hear those babies as there are many implied benefits to this process.

RSD Black Friday offerings should be announced sooner than later we suspect and are anticipating. Check out the listing in this post. Stop by a take a look at our New Releae Wall and talk some shop! Enjoy Life!

Happy Second Fridays

Maggot Brain Returns! Three different versions ... Black Vinyl ... Red Vinyl ... and a 45 RPM variant. One of the most iconic albums of all time! It's a must-have for anyone who truly loves music and its history in the making! The song Maggot Brain is Eddie Lee's homage to Jimi who passed away two years before the original release of the album of the same name.

Lots more great releases to wrap your ears around as well.

And ... Water Street Studios, Warehouse 55 and Kiss The Sky are celebrating Second Fridays in the Art District of Downtown Batavia this Friday. Matt Keen is performing at Kiss The Sky Friday Night as a part of that celebration (7-8:30).

Happy First Friday!!!

As is just about always the case, "Physical Media" New Releases & Reissues dominate Fridays in the World of Music! This Friday is no exception! Some pretty cool "new" things and some highly welcomed " reissues have made this week's chosen few. Check out the list included.

Also included is a jpeg about our Second Fridays participation in Downtown Batavia's Monthly Second Fridays Celebration that's been going on for quite some time now. Check that out as well if you are interested in what that's all about.

Otherwise ... we hope to see you all sooner than later! Peace, Love & Happiness to all!

Second Fridays ... September 11, 2026

For quite sometime now ... years in fact ... Batavia has had a Second Fridays thing going on. It's a collaborative effort organized and promoted by Batavia MainStreet in tandem with Water Street Studios to honor and highlight the arts, local culture and independent small businesses.

Water Street Studios typically will have a new Art Gallery Opening while Kiss The Sky will feature Live Music performances by local area musicians, and Warehouse 55 and other area local businesses may have "special" things going on in celebration of the "happening" as people stroll through the downtown.

On September 11, Kiss The Sky will feature a performance by a long time friend of ours and a truly gifted and great local area musician named Matt Keen.
