Board President, Jessica Jecmen and Clay Lab Coordinator, Megan Ryan attended the Community Foundation's Grantee Reception to gratefully accept acknowledgement of a grant from the Foundation to continue to update the clay lab at Water Street Studios. Have you heard? We're bringing a Makers Market to Water Street Studios — four of them, actually.

Starting this December, we're opening our gallery spaces to local artists, artisans, and makers for a brand-new monthly market series. Think handmade goods, a great crowd, and a chance to sell your work in a real gallery setting.

📅 Market dates: December 5, February 6, March 6 & April 3 (12–4pm)
💵 Booth fees start at $35

Last weekend to see "Identity" in the Community Gallery!

This show asked a big question: how do we think about identity, and what does it mean to you? Is it something each of us shapes alone, or an experience we share? Does it hold us in place, or push us forward?

The artists in this exhibit answered in ways that were personal, surprising, and deeply human. Together they made this a vibrant, diverse showings of local talent. Thank you to everyone who submitted, showed up, and shared a piece of themselves!

We ran the kids' activity at Geneva Arts Fair again this year. The activity of creating flower garland was fun, engaging, and festive. Marissa Amoni, Geneva Arts Fair Coordinator shared "I could tell that the families enjoyed it, and it helped all ages to enjoy the fair. Congrats on a popular activity, and thanks for being part of Geneva Arts Fair!"

Congrats to Board Member Marissa on a successful Geneva Arts Fair, to Board Member, Kimberly Luthin for being a judge, and to Resident Artist Maggie Capettini for being a showcased artist in the fair.

We love that the Fox Valley is so committed to the arts!
