I got my little brother started with his very first bonsai! Jaxon selected his tree from a whole batch of portulacaria afra 'Lilliput' I started from cuttings. The kid has a good eye already. We moved it from a nursery pot to a cool little Chinese bonsai container with paintings on it. Made a few cuts on it and gave him aftercare instructions. It's so cool to spend time with family and share what you love with them. Love you Jaxon. 🤍🐺

This cutting grown sea hibiscus (Hibiscus tiliaceus) is getting better and better with time and techniques. This is easily one of my favorite species to play with. Tropicals seem to match my energy. Haha! I highly encourage you to try growing your own bonsai from cuttings. The lessons and rewards are tenfold.
