America turns 250 this year... and we're celebrating the most patriotic way possible at F.A.M.E. Days!

Compete in our Hot Dog Eating Contest at F.A.M.E. Days!

“Twas the Night Before Big Bang on Spring Street” on FRIDAY July 3rd for a chance to win $gift cards$ to local restaurants, other cool prizes, plus social media recognition and of course eternal bragging rights! 😎

Pre-registered contestants must be present 15 minutes before start time.

There will be a signup sheet at the Bastrop Cultural Arts tent day of if space is available for anyone who would like to compete. Contestants will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis.

*****Waivers must be signed at event, under 18, parent present to sign waiver. ******

Due to the forecasted weather conditions and the possibility of thunderstorms on Friday, June 5th, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this month's F.A.M.E. Days event. It will not be postponed.

With over 30 vendors participating, the safety of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, performers, and staff must come first. While we were hopeful the weather would improve, we cannot responsibly risk severe weather conditions during an outdoor event.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support, preparation, and excitement for F.A.M.E. Days. We know how much time and effort goes into preparing for these events, and this decision was not made lightly.

Stay tuned for July "'Twas The Night Before Big Bang" with lots going on! July's event may just take the cake! 🍰

Inspired by the spirit of Juneteenth, this special evening will feature live entertainment, art, dancing, creative vendors, cultural experiences, handmade goods, and activities for all ages along Pine Street.
