Opening weekend of Anything Goes exceeded every expectation. Our incredible cast delivered powerhouse vocals, endless laughs, dazzling dance numbers, and performances that had audiences cheering from start to finish.

CAST SPOTLIGHT
Erin Renken is ecstatic to make her third appearance on the BOH stage after appearing in Urinetown: The Musical as Little Sally and Peter and the Starcatcher as Bill Slank. She was also seen in Godspell at SOPA in Cedar Park and Almost, Maine in Boerne. Offstage, Erin is a third grade teacher and has been a performer for over 25 years. As always, many thanks to her family and husband Drew for their support.

CAST SPOTLIGHT
Aline was most recently seen as Mimi in RENT and now happily sets sail in Anything Goes! A longtime performer in the Austin and Bastrop theater scenes, some of her favorite and most recent credits include Sweet Charity (Nicky, Entr’acte), Company (Kathy, Roustabout), Sister Act (Mary Patrick, BOH), Young Frankenstein (Inga, BOH), Damn Yankees (Lola, Entr’acte), The Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty, BOH), The Addams Family (Morticia, BOH), and Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey, BOH). She also shines backstage, having directed productions like the sold-out Rockin’ Holiday R***e at the Bastrop Opera House.

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Aline discovered her passion for theater as a teen at the acclaimed Teatro Escola Macunaíma. After moving to Texas, she took a 10-year stage hiatus before finally leaning back into her biggest passion—and she hasn’t stopped since!

Offstage, Aline is a design leader for a global consulting company and spends her free time as a photographer, visual artist, craft guru, and devoted doodle mama to her fluffy sidekick, Hugo. Follow her backstage & beyond: .forastieri

Oscar is so excited to be performing with Bastrop Opera House for the second time! He most recently got to perform at BOH as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and had an amazing time. Oscar sends love to his husband Allen and his cats Peach and Mango, without whose support he could not be here performing today!

This is the week.

Months ago, Anything Goes was just a title on our season announcement. Then came auditions, rehearsals, choreography, music, countless hours of hard work, and a cast determined to bring this classic to life.

Now, we're just days away from welcoming our first audience aboard the S.S. American.

We can't wait to laugh with you, sing with you, and share the magic that only live theatre can create.

CAST SPOTLIGHT
Excited for a role when the audience doesn’t boo (the role, not him), Tom relishes being onboard for this cruise! As a regular BOH attendee, you may have snarled at him in Grumpy Old Men, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, Sister Act, and Fiddler on the Roof. As a method actor, he requested to actually drink during the shows/each rehearsal – obviously, they said no.
