As we begin planning the 100th Birthday Celebration of the historic Rose Theatre, we are reaching out to our community for a very special request. ❤️

Do you have any vintage photographs of The Rose Theatre through the years?
We would especially love to see:

🎭 Old play programs
🎭 Cast and backstage photos
🎭 Pictures from performances
🎭 Audience or crowd photos
🎭 Photos of the theatre itself through the decades
🎭 Newspaper clippings, tickets, posters, or special memories

The Rose Theatre has been part of so many lives, stories, and memories in our community, and we would be honored to include pieces of that history in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

If you have photos or memorabilia you would be willing to share or allow us to copy, please comment below, send us a message, or contact me directly. Even the smallest memory could become a treasured part of preserving the legacy of The Rose for future generations.

🎶 Bastrop… we need you this Sunday. 🎶

The lights will come up on the stage of the historic Rose Theatre, the instruments will be tuned, and some truly incredible musicians will be ready to play. But what makes live music magical… is the audience.

This Sunday at 2:00 PM, the Flying Jazz Quartet will fill the theatre with the rich sound of trumpet, piano, bass, and drums — the kind of music that makes you smile, tap your feet, and remember why live music matters.

But events like this only continue when the community shows up. Every ticket, every seat filled, every person who walks through those doors helps keep arts and culture alive right here in Bastrop.

So we’re asking our friends, neighbors, and community —
✨ Come spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon with us.
✨ Bring someone who loves music.
✨ Help us fill the Rose Theatre with applause.

Dress Rehearsal for "The Legend of Sammy's Swamp" was pure perfection 👌 Half of our cast are on stage for the first time ever, but they handled themselves like pros! Some even stole the show 😆 We had such a fun time hosting PVA and Beekman for daytime performances 🎭 Youth Theater at the Rose Theater-Bastrop is my jam!
