This Thursday, October 8th, join us for another First Draft featuring Dèy author Edwidge Danticat. 📖

Dèy is a profoundly warm and moving novel about the importance not only of sharing grief, but also of inseverable family ties. Dèy is also a longlist nominee for the 77th National Book Award for Fiction!

“Edwidge Danticat is an author whose work truly captures the Haitian American immigrant experience with prose that is so languid and all-consuming that one never wants to be released from its grasp.” - NPR

This event is FREE with RSVP. RSVP today at tacaw.org.

Thank you for celebrating 5 years of TACAW with us last month! 🤍

The celebration continues all year long with TACAW 5 - our multi-channel campaign to connect donor passions with 5 pillars that match organizational needs.

Our 5 pillars are:

T = Thought Leadership - The conversations, films, and panels that build understanding around the topics that matter to our region.
A = Arts & Culture - The music, theater, dance, comedy, and spoken word that fill our calendar.
C = Community Programming - Our promise that everyone who lives here is welcome, represented, and enriched.
A = Arts Education = Our commitment to inspiring the next generation of artists and art enthusiasts.
W = Wish List & Working Wages = Our investment in the people and infrastructure that keep TACAW strong and ready for the future.

We hope our dedication to these 5 pillars aligns with your 5 favorite things about TACAW! We love our community and are so grateful for the continued support.
