Bartlett 4th of July Bartlett 4th of July Festival
Hosted by: Bartlett Fourth of July Committee NFP The committee is not a part of any other organization. It is no small task.

The Bartlett Fourth of July Festival is currently organized, managed, promoted, and orchestrated by Bartlett Fourth of July Committee NFP. Its sole purpose is to provide a 4th of July Celebration each year for our home town. It is totally self funding in that the profits from one year are used for the celebration the next year. The festival was originally formed in August of 1992 under the Bartlet

t Fourth of July Committee organization, comprised of a few residents who wanted a "home town celebration that would create memories for our children and our children's' children." A simple concept that has stood the test of time. We would be remiss to not mention that each year the Village of Bartlett funds $12,000 toward the cost of the fireworks display. Additionally, we count on the support of the Bartlett Police Department and Fire Department in keeping the festival orderly and safe for all residents who attend. The Bartlett Park District allows the festival on its soccer fields and takes charge of supervising the adjacent parking lot. They also take on the necessary but essential task of garbage removal. Without the cooperation of the Village and Park District, the Bartlett 4th of July Celebration in Bartlett could not exist. The bands and entertainment in the band-shell, the parade and, of course the fireworks extravaganza are all funded by last year's celebration. The committee starts its year in August for the following year. Anyone interested in joining is welcome. Our meetings are the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM sharp at the Bartlett Police Station. Please come and enjoy the festival that always focuses on family, fun, and fabulous fireworks to celebrate our nation's birth.

Due to safety concerns resulting from yesterday's extreme rain and flooding, the carnival will not be opening today.

The safety of our guests, staff, vendors, volunteers, and ride operators is our highest priority.

The festival grounds will be inspected this morning to determine whether conditions are safe for guests, bands, food vendors, volunteers, and all other festival activities. We will provide an update as soon as a decision has been made.

🇺🇸 FOURTH OF JULY FEST UPDATE 🇺🇸

Happy 250th Birthday, America! ❤️🤍💙

🎆 Fireworks are currently scheduled for 9:30 PM. If weather conditions change, it’s possible they could go off a little earlier or later. Unless you hear otherwise from us, plan on a 9:30 PM.

Please keep an eye on our social media throughout the day for the latest updates. If weather moves into the area, we may have to make the difficult decision to temporarily close or evacuate the festival grounds. We’ll keep everyone informed as quickly as possible.

We’re working closely with our Police Department, Fire District, and the National Weather Service to make the best decisions for everyone’s safety while doing everything we can to celebrate Independence Day together.

One more heads-up: the festival grounds are VERY WET! If you were planning on wearing cowboy boots tonight, you may want to consider rain boots instead.

Lastly, please be mindful of the weather before making purchases. If severe weather forces us to close, there are no refunds on food, beverages, carnival tickets, or wristbands.

Thank you for your patience and support—we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🇺🇸🎇 Bartlett 4th of July

🇺🇸 As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday this Independence Day, we’re proud to recognize Bill Hayes as one of our 2026 Veterans Honorees.

Bill served our country for more than 31 years in the U.S. Navy, Naval Reserves, and New York Air National Guard, with deployments supporting Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.

He also served as both an NYPD officer and a 24-year veteran of the FDNY, responding to the World Trade Center attacks in 1993 and again on September 11, 2001.

Although Bill retired in 2011 due to a World Trade Center-related illness, his commitment to serving others never ended.

Today, he serves as Commander of FDNY VFW Post 12033, mentoring fellow veterans and helping ensure they receive the benefits they’ve earned.

We’re honored to recognize Bill and partner with Operation Healing Heroes, whose mission is to support veterans and their families.

Operation Healing Heroes, alongside Bill Hayes, will be serving at the beer truck from 8:00 PM–11:00 PM. Stop by to meet Bill, say hello, and get an autograph. For every $10 donation made to support our veterans, you’ll receive a fishing reel while supplies last.

Happy Independence Day, and God Bless America. 🇺🇸 Bartlett 4th of July OperationHealingHeroes

FEST UPDATE

After continued monitoring of the weather and ongoing discussions with our Police Department, Fire Protection District, and the National Weather Service, we have made the difficult decision that the festival will not reopen this evening.

We’re heartbroken. A year of planning goes into this event, and this is the last decision we ever wanted to make. But the safety of our guests, volunteers, vendors, entertainers, and first responders will always come first.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we navigate circumstances beyond anyone’s control.

We’re hoping tomorrow brings better weather. If you’ve got a little extra luck to spare, send some positive vibes our way—we could sure use them. 🇺🇸 Bartlett 4th of July
