Hey everyone, today is the last day to vote in Best of Bartlesville town contest for local vendors and I hope I can count on your support one last time before we close up shop. We're competing for Best Local Artisan Shop and the link to the contest is at the bottom.

The business isn't closing down. Just changing locations.

I'll be taking some time off to be with my family but other than that, we actually expanded the studio again before we got word that we were shutting down.

I bought a third torch and a foot pedal set up and now we have three torches to work on and will resume classes in the near future.

Thank you to the people who came in and took a class over the last 9 months, we had almost 100 students in that time. I'll count the waivers some time and let yall know how many we actually had at a later date.

So if you've been to the studio or even if all you did was peek in through the window, I appreciate you.

Thank you for taking the time to open yourself up to the world of glassblowing.

Hey everyone, sad news.

We will be shutting down at the end of the month to make way for another small business.

If you have any orders please come by the studio or message me to pick up your glass.

I currently have one order to finish before we take off and we are still running classes but instead of our beautiful downtown location we will be at the home studio.

Be sure to call or text for an appointment.
Prices and times are likely to change but feel free to ask about a class.

We still take custom orders and will be updating the page as time goes on.

Thank you to everyone who supported me in this journey and we're still in the running for Best Local Artisan Shop in the Best of Bartlesville contest.

It would be an honor to take the wall plaque to the home studio so before voting ends on the 24th please go to:

https://kcdenterprises.secondstreetapp.com/Best-of-Bartlesville-2026/

And search for Best Local Artisan Shop. You'll see Flamework Fusion way down the list under the farmers markets who are also competing for that spot.

Thank you again to all the wonderful students I've had over the last 9 months. It went so fast and I can't believe we're out of there but it was always only a temporary situation.

Have a good day everyone!πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Heyllo everyone, I'm in the running for Bartlesville's best local artisan shop and I am hoping we can count on your support.

There's been some big changes in the contest this year and now I'm competing against two local farmers markets for "Best Local Artisan Shop".

I feel like the farmers markets should have their own category since they have multiple vendors instead of individual studios and shops.

There are a few studios around town and im sure they'd love a chance at the title as well. Please contact your local representatives to petition for a category change so that other artist can have a fair shot for recognition.

It kind of hinders me to call out the other artist studios in town but I would much rather be competing against our local fusing/slumping Studio and the traditional glass artist here in town.

So in these frames we have our goofy artist working with raw materials to bring together the pendant for our glass chain.

Speaking of together, that's exactly how we formed our pendant! By combining the two colored rods in the flame and slowly working them into shape.

At certain points I would focus my flame on one side or the other but for the most part we worked the majority of it in one go.

I would focus the flame right where the two meet and work a pancake shape and then build on that to get the final look.

After a while I finally had one of the best looking pendants I've ever seen.

We ended up using the entirety of both of those colored rods and I left just enough at the end to make the bails on the sides for my chain.

It was my most ambitious project at the time and I felt like I had just climbed the mountains of glassblowing only to see a range of peaks ahead of meπŸ˜… but such is life and art calls!

Here we have the face of the pendant. With Blue Stardust on the left and Ghost on the right, this chain is one of my prized possessions.

I picked those particular colors because I went to High-school in Bartlesville and those are Bruins colors.
