What an unforgettable night in Barrington at Aurora Woods 🎃

We had a line that never seemed to end, and it was truly amazing to see so many families come out to enjoy the night. The amount of love and support this community shows year after year is something we never take for granted. ❤️

We do want to take a moment to talk about something important. This event is built completely by volunteers, families, parents, and kids who give their time and energy to create something special for others to enjoy. Last night, we had some behavior that took away from that spirit. There were people taking handfuls of treats that were meant to last the entire weekend, some teenagers being disrespectful to our younger actors, and even someone grabbing one of our performers.

Please remember our actors are kids! They’re here to spread fun and a little Halloween magic, not to be treated disrespectfully. We love putting this on for the community, but we need everyone’s help to keep it positive, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

Before coming out, please take a moment to talk with your kids about kindness and respect. It makes all the difference.

Thank you again to everyone who came out, supported, and appreciated what we do. We can’t wait to see you all again next weekend. Let’s make it a great one, Barrington. 🖤🎃👻

Last show this Saturday 🎃 event starts at 6:30PM with a special no-scare walk for families and those who prefer to experience the haunted walk without jump scares—perfect for the little ones!

Then, from 7 PM to 9 PM, it’s time for the full scare experience for those ready to be spooked! 🕷️👻

As you exit the walk, you’ll pass through the witches’ hut, where you can pick a treat to take home!

🌟 No tickets needed—this event is FREE! Donations are appreciated to help make this walk possible.

🎃👻 Get Ready for a Frighteningly Halloween Walk! 👻🎃

Opening Night: Friday, October 18
Show Dates: Saturday, October 19 & Saturday, October 26
Scare Times: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

New This Year: Family-Friendly Walkthrough!
We know some of our younger guests or those a little too spooked may want to experience the thrills without the chills! From 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM on each show night, you’ll be able to walk through without the actors and jump scares—perfect for little ones or anyone who wants a less intense experience.

No tickets are needed for the event, but donations are always welcomed to support future events and keep the scares going!

This is your chance to enjoy the eerie atmosphere without the fright. Then, if you’re brave enough, you can stick around for the real scares starting at 7:00 PM!

Don’t miss out on this spooktacular event! See you there… if you dare!
