Art in the Barn: Children’s Art Studio

In the spring of 2023, serendipity brought together two artists / moms / teachers with a passion for cultivating creativity in young minds! Lisa Sheahen & Anindita Pal are joining forces to bring our love for art to this amazing community. We provide children's art classes in a beautifully renovated & scenic barn! Our little artists will get the experience to make limitless art in a positive & enc

ouraging environment. Children will explore different art mediums, develop skills across several areas and build friendships. Meet the teachers below and have your little one come make art with us! Lisa is a mom to a 1 year old girl and lives with her family in Algonquin. She's a certified Special Education & General Education Teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, particularly at the elementary age. She loves celebrating each child's unique personality and giving them a sense of support and empowerment. Her mission is to give young minds a space to think creatively & express themselves. Anindita is a mom to a 3 year old boy and lives with her family in Barrington. Anindita has been painting ad creating since early childhood. She has created across different mediums, specializing in acrylic and mixed media, and has over 5 years of experience teaching art to 2-10 year olds. She believes in the transformative power of art, and in uncovering each child's unique creative powers through guided exploration of different techniques and mediums.
