One of my professional ambitions is to take my work to Great Britian, Europe and maybe even New Zealand & Australia- dream big!

Today was a step in that directionā€¦my first attempt at flying with Bur Oak to Fiber Fest!

Yes, I could have shipped some of it, but I pushed myself to try being totally self containedā€¦3 bags, @ 100 lbs!

Made it, including a tesla ride from Anna Woods šŸ’—

I repurpose old aluminum needles and hooks into new thingsā€¦like barrettes!

These needles are hammered flat, drilled, sanded and riveted to a barretteā€¦

Iā€™ll be vending at this family & community focused event which will also have food trucks, live music, fun activities, raffle prizes, and more:

The South Burlington Green Community Festival on Saturday, September 19th from 11am to 3pm at South Burlington City Hall. (Raindate is Sunday, September 20)

Learn about energy efficiency, sustainability, and the environment from local nonprofits and businesses. There will be experts on hand to answer your questions about bike commuting, solar, heat pumps, energy upgrades, gardening, peecycling and more. There will be E-bike and other demos. Plus - lots of kids activities including, bounce house, Champ and face painting! Free parking, including valet parking for bicycles. See you there!
