The two big bowls have survived the glaze fire and I am pleased with the colors and results of my artwork.., my camera phone doesn't do them justice. My favorite is the pumpkins.

So I did a little AI experiment today. I asked ChatGPT to create an image using my selection of ideas…purple pumpkins, and lavender that I could then paint with underglazes onto one of my bisqued stoneware bowls. I. Took 3 tries, but I got the general image I wanted and then altered it to fit my bowl. This is how it came out so far….I still need to clear glaze and high fire the bowl. I like it. This is a great resource for future ideas.

Sometimes it doesn't pay to do a refire! 😫 this cute valentine chip and dip had to be refired because there was a small area where that Mayco red glaze was thin - that glaze gets me every time!! Its a good solid red - however- something about the way it looks as Im glazing-and multiple layers- I always get a thin section... anyways-where was I? So i slap on more glaze, pop it into my sweet small 120v Olympic kiln - set on 'fast glaze' - and this happens 🤯 mega stress crack! Grrrrrrrrrr! Being a potter, aint for cry babies.
