A huge thank you to our fabulous volunteers - Amy Kraskouskas, Madeline Little, Alex Lucchesi, Toni Mullen - who tackled the BCC costume loft reorganization. There was serious sorting, digging, and more than a few walks down memory lane as we revisited some incredible costumes from the long history of this community theater.

Now we’re organized, costumes are ready, and we’re gearing up for our 105th season!

We’re kicking things off this November with CURTAINS; a hilarious murder mystery musical about the wonderfully chaotic ins and outs of theater. (Thankfully during our costume reorg the only thing that was killed was some clutter!)

We hope you'll come see our creative costumes in action very soon!

MURDER. MYSTERY. MUSICAL THEATRE. MAYHEM.
What happens when the star of a brand-new musical is murdered on opening night? The show must go on. Luckily there’s a detective in the audience who just might be the man to save it!
CURTAINS is a hilarious musical mystery comedy set in 1959 Boston, with a book by Rupert Holmes (The Mystery of Edwin Drood and “The Piña Colada Song”), lyrics by Fred Ebb, and music by John Kander (Chicago and Cabaret), with additional lyrics by Kander and Holmes.
When the supremely untalented star of Robbin’ Hood of the Old West is murdered during her opening-night curtain call, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi steps in. He’s a police detective, a devoted musical-theatre fan, and moonlights as a community theatre actor, and he’s determined to solve the case, save the show, and maybe even find love along the way.
But with a killer lurking backstage, everyone is a suspect!
