A few months late, but we wanted to acknowledge the closer for our 2023/24 season: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime!
This incredible production finished out our season back in March. Curious was filled with mystery, heartache, space, and so much more. A huge shoutout to the cast and crew of this incredible show. Here we come 2024/25!

Hello all! We are so excited for auditions for Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime! Auditions are Jan 18th in the fine arts building. Please prepare a 20 - 30 SECOND MONOLOGUE
Here’s what we are looking for : 10 versatile hard-working super focused actors.
(Unless I am unable to do it with only 10, and in that case I will make adjustments.)
10 is what the playwright envisioned, and 10 is what I'm aiming for.

-5 actors who can play believable females.
-6 actors can play believable males.

Another way to look at the breakdown:
-Christopher, Ed, Judy, and Siobhan only play the roles of Christopher Ed Judy and Siobhan.
-The other six actors will be playing a crazy amount of multiple roles, as you can see when you look at the image attached. I'm calling these roles the "six voices"

I'll be totally candid. The four roles are fantastic and have their own challenges because of the long monologues. But don't get me wrong they are amazing roles.
The six voices involve a crazy amount of character work. Every character will have to be very very specific, well defined, well thought out.
If I were acting in this I would want any role. All of the roles are great, and there's a level of physicality to this script that I'm very excited about. Not just the stage combat, also the movement of the six voices characters.

I truly enjoyed the early involvement of students in the last production. I will want to be seeing students who opt to be involved in other aspects of the production early on as well. (I am talking crew, marketing, front of house, stage managers, assistant stage managers, box office and so forth. Tony and I want to teach you to be good at all of the things, so integrating everybody into the process early on will be part of that.

Hello all! On behalf of the theatre arts department and the GSC Performing Arts Guild, we hope you had a wonderful holiday season. We are ecstatic for the upcoming spring 2024 semester and the opportunities in store for students, faculty and staff. One of those opportunities being a contest. We are looking for a poster design for our production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.
