A big shout out to all my crafty friends in New Jersey and New York. My good friend Mirna Rucci is once again hosting the Crossroads retreat in New Jersey. It’s the weekend of May 15 and it’s a wonderful event. There are five openings and I would encourage you to look into it. If you’re wondering what you would work on I would be happy to help you with projects and give you ideas, etc. it is a wonderful weekend.

And a little more stenciling on a piece of book paper. I took my pink distressed ink and rubbed it over the stenciling, and then I took a damp paper towel and just gently went over the top to remove this pink from the stencil, leaving the relief white and then add a little stickles for shine.

Just sharing a page of my Easter junk journal 2026, I upcycled a lovely card from my sister Jill Pedersen, inserting a bunny image and tag where the birthday messages were. I jazzed it up by stenciling a leaf pattern with texture paste and then add stickles in moon dust variety for some pizzazz!

I followed along with Tammy on her YouTube channel Embellish The Story, and I posted this picture on her Facebook group, which is lovely as well. She created a beautiful journaling card out of an index card, covering it with lovely laces, appliqué ribbon, and a saying. Mine is constructed out of a note card, which has scalloped edges and is 5 X 7 inches.
