Ministers & Wives...
WE’RE PROVIDING THE WELL
In the Bible, a well was more than just a hole in the ground.
A well was a place where people came when they were thirsty.
They came when they needed water for the journey ahead. They came tired, carrying burdens, and knowing they couldn't keep going without being refreshed.
And throughout Scripture, we find people gathered around wells—places of conversation, fellowship, unexpected encounters, and refreshment.
That’s what we want this night to be for our ministers and their wives.
They spend their lives helping other people find the water.
So for one evening, we're saying:
Pastor, you don't have to dig the well.
You don't have to carry the bucket.
You don't have to take care of everybody else.
We’re providing the well.
Come sit down.
Come eat a home-cooked meal.
Come laugh.
Come listen to some wonderful music.
Come hold your wife's hand.
Come forget about the church calendar for a few hours.
Come, let somebody else serve you.
Because even the person who spends his life giving water to others can become thirsty.
And even the shepherd who spends his days caring for the sheep needs someone to care for him.
Saturday, September 26, at 7:00 PM, we’re digging a little well of our own—a night of appreciation, fellowship, food, and music for ministers and their wives.
This night is for you.
Come to the well.
Your seat is waiting.

(We will have tickets at the tent revival tonight. See Tom Retherford, Rev. Mark Keith, or Men's Brotherhood Director Bro. Robert Casey, who will have a booth at the back of the tent giving away FREE BIBLES! Tickets are $15 per person and include the meal, music, and a wonderful evening of fellowship and encouragement.)
