It’s been over a year now since I’ve been in my studio. Chronic pain has kept me from creating. 😪 I hope to someday be able to create more art but for now, I take One Day At A Time. ❤️

Today, I went and cleared off my shelves at Lostetter Designs. It was a sad day but I will be back! I’m working diligently to get my health back on track, and then to get back into my art studio… but it’s one thing at a time, sometimes just baby steps, and I’m also at the mercy of our medical/insurance system. So, hopefully, my artwork will be seen again at Lostetter’s SOONER than later! I hope you will still frequent the store and tell all your friends, there’s so much going on there and so many great artisans/makers -and still growing!

At this time, I’d like to thank Allen and Bill Lostetter for all their awesomeness and family vibe. You’ve always made me feel the love. And to all the amazing vendors in the store, thank you for your kindness as well and keep making and selling that cool stuff! Much love to you all! I’ll be seeing you again soon! ❤️

Dear friends, I want to take a moment to thank everyone for your love and support of my art but I have to make an announcement that I’ve been dreading. It’s been something that I’ve put a great deal of thought into over the last several months and I was really hoping would turn around but after several attempts at making that turn, it seems that it’s going to take longer than expected. I’ve been dealing with some health issues and haven’t been able to get into my studio to make any product all winter and with spring and summer approaching, I have nothing to offer to renew my contract at Lostetter Designs Artisan Market. I feel terrible about it. They are like a second family and it was heartbreaking to have to break the news to Allen but he was so understanding and compassionate to my situation. I have several doctors attempting to fix me and get me working again and when that happens, believe me, I plan on getting back to work and back to Lostetter’s! That’s my “home” and they are my “family” and please watch for all the upcoming event because they will have awesome things going on this summer and I will be posting them… but you should also follow them, if you don’t already!! So, again, I thank you all for supporting Durenda’s Mystic Fluid Art and I’m not gone, just taking a break to get healthy and then I’ll be back. My artwork will be in the store until the end of April. ❤️🤟

It’s been difficult to get into my studio as of late but today I found some energy to get a few things done. I do what I can, when I can. Pain be damned! 😝 These will hopefully dry beautifully, but now I can start working on the frames. Thanks for looking. 👀

Yesterday, I dropped off my submitted painting for the art show! I’m excited to be in this show with 200 + other artists! I hope you’ll stop by Door2Art Studio in Hudson, OH and see my artwork, as well as enjoy the others! The show runs Feb 22-25, with the awards ceremony on the 23rd! More of my art can be seen and purchased at Lostetter Designs at 3290 S Main St, Akron, OH.
