For over 60 years, Spirit Lake Arts has created a space for artists to be appreciated for their work. Some for their lifelong dedication to their craft and originality. This year we wanted to showcase something truly special for our friends at ArtJune, and requested that our musicians put focus on their original music to shine the spotlight on their own art. We were not disappointed.

Spirit Lake Arts is proud to welcome a staple in the Baraboo area music scene, and master of musical craftsmanship, Mike Droho to the 2026 Artjune Stage!

Mike Droho is a career songwriter, performer, and producer known for delivering dynamic live performances that blend sharp humor, intimate storytelling, improvisational looping, explosive energy, and genre-spanning songwriting. With over 3,000 live performances, ten full-length albums, and songs featured on MTV and national television campaigns, he has built a long-running independent career rooted in craft and connection.

A published writer with Fine Gold Music in New York, Droho has also produced more than 25 mainstream comedy albums — including No Offense by Theo Von.

Over the course of his career, Droho has shared stages with artists including Eric Church, Gavin DeGraw, NEEDTOBREATHE, The Violent Femmes, Ben Kweller, and W***y Porter, with appearances at festivals including South by Southwest and Summerfest.

When not on stage, Droho teaches songwriting and music production to underserved youth through county human services programs throughout Wisconsin, helping young artists access creativity through modern recording tools and self-expression.

Mike's all-original performance is brought to you by an equally supportive and music-friendly venue. An inclusive space where creativity and expression isn't only accepted, but encouraged. A place that opens their doors and their stage to music of all genres; keeping the local music scene alive with their off-season, weekly Open Jam every Wednesday night from September through May: Brothers On Oak. What a perfect mashup!

Show some extra love for one of Baraboo's favorite downtown watering holes, and stop in to thank Greg in person. He's usually hanging out and lending a hand to his awesome staff. Thank you Greg!

Stay tuned! We've got more awesome announcements heading your way!
